In 2012, I lost my only sibling, my little brother, Geoffrey Warren Keller. He was a loving husband, brother, friend, and son. He passed from the rare disease, malignant hyperthermia.  When triggered, malignant hyperthermia causes the body to overheat and can lead to death if not immediately treated. It is commonly studied among anesthesiologists but relatively unknown to the general public. Malignant hyperthermia is passed down genetically and many people are believed to have it unknowingly.
